Read your results each week
A short weekly routine for reading your Meta results in Goose and deciding what to make next.
Once a week, spend ten minutes on your results. Goose reads your Meta ad account every day, so the numbers are ready when you are. You need Meta connected. See Results and Meta.
1. Check the numbers are complete
Open Results and check when it last updated. Results are whole days, up to yesterday. Meta can still add sales to recent days, so judge last week, not yesterday.
2. Look at the last 7 days
At the top of Results, pick Last 7 days. Look at spend, sales value and cost per purchase. If you sell through sign-ups, look at leads and cost per lead.
Then pick Last 30 days to see if this week was normal.
3. Read Goose's call on each ad
Under Your ads, each ad has Goose's call, in the Result column:
| Call | What to do |
|---|---|
| Winning | Make more like it: same idea, new hooks or sizes. |
| Rising | Keep it running and check back next week. |
| Steady | Leave it, or give it more time. |
| Behind | Think about replacing it. |
| Tired | Try a new hook on the same idea. |
| Too early | Wait. It needs more spend, days or views. |
| Not judged | Wait for its results to come in. |
Goose only reads your results. To pause or change an ad, do it in Meta yourself.
4. See what's working
Open What's working and group by what each Goose ad tried, like its angle, hook or format. Look for the angle or hook that keeps winning. That's your next test.
5. Ask what to make next
In your AI app, ask: "What should I make next?" It says what to keep, change and stop, and suggests three ideas to test: two that build on what's working and one new one.
Ask your AI app to make the ones you like. You see the price before anything is made. Then come back next week.
If the numbers look wrong
If you see spend but no sales, check your tracking first. See Check your Meta tracking.
