Three hooks and a customer line
A template for checking the hook and the customer line in a video plan before you say yes.
Every Goose video plan has three hooks for the first two seconds, one real customer line used word for word, and a short script. Your AI app writes them. This template helps you check them, or write your own, before you say yes.
The template
Product: [which product]
Customer line: [a review marked OK to quote, word for word]
Hook 1, a question: [a question your buyer asks themselves]
Hook 2, a surprise: [something they don't expect to hear]
Hook 3, their words: [the customer line itself, or part of it]
Pick: [which hook, and why]
Ad text (up to 125 characters): [the main text Meta shows with the video]
Headline (up to 40 characters): [the headline]
Button: [like Shop now or Learn more]An example
Product: Lavender sleep candle
Customer line: "I finally sleep through the night."
Hook 1, a question: "Still awake at 2am?"
Hook 2, a surprise: "The best sleep tip isn't on your phone."
Hook 3, their words: "I finally sleep through the night."
Pick: Hook 1, because our buyers already know the problem.
Ad text: A calm, slow-burning lavender candle for a better wind-down. Light it 30 minutes before bed.
Headline: Wind down without your phone
Button: Shop nowWhat makes a strong hook
- It's short enough to read in two seconds.
- It speaks to one person with one problem.
- It makes them want the next second.
Check the customer line
- It's marked OK to quote in your brand brain. If not, Goose can't share the video.
- It says what changed for the customer, not just "Great product!"
- It matches the hook. A hook about sleep needs a line about sleep.
To use your own hook or line, paste this template into your AI app and ask it to plan the video from it. Every claim, number and offer in the video still has to come from your brand brain.
