Brand
Brand facts checklist
A checklist of what your brand brain needs before Goose can make strong ads, and where to fix each part.
Goose makes every ad from your brand brain. Go through this list once after Goose reads your website, then again whenever something big changes, like a new product or a new offer.
All of these live under Brand in the dashboard. See Your brand brain.
The basics
- Overview: the summary sounds like you, and the line your ads end with is right.
- What needs a look on the Overview is empty, or you know why it isn't.
- Goose still needs to know: answer what you can, so Goose doesn't have to ask later.
How you look
These are on the Look and Taste tabs.
- Logo: your real logo is there, ideally as an SVG or a clear PNG.
- Brand colors: the main colors are right, not just colors from a banner on your site.
- Fonts: your fonts are there. If Goose couldn't find them, choose Add a font file under Font files.
- Photos: a few photos that show your brand's look, not only product shots. Choose Add a photo to add them.
- Taste: you've picked at least 8 looks you like, so Goose knows your style.
How you sound
- Voice: reads like your brand. Change anything that sounds off with Edit voice, or Correct in a line's … menu.
Products
- Every product you want ads for is there, with the right price and a good main photo.
- Products you don't want in ads are marked to be left out.
- Anything marked Check before ads has been checked.
- Offers are only ones that are real today. Goose never makes one up.
Claims and proof
These are on the Rules and claims tab.
- The claims you want ads to make are Ads can say it.
- Claims that need proof, like "best-selling" or "clinically tested", have their proof, or stay Needs proof first.
- Anything ads must never say is marked Never say it.
Customer words
- At least three or four strong reviews are OK to quote. See Get customer words you can quote.
Brand updates
- Brand updates in Needs you is empty: every update is approved or rejected.
When the list is done, ask your AI app "What do you know about us?" and read the answer. If anything is wrong, tell it, and approve the fix in Needs you, under Brand updates.
