Get customer words you can quote

How to give Goose real customer reviews and mark the ones your ads may use word for word.

The best ads often use a real customer's words. Goose uses them only after your team says it's OK. This guide shows how to get good ones into your brand brain.

Why it matters

Every Goose video uses one real customer line, word for word. Goose never makes a review up, so if your brand brain has no quotes, your ads can't use one.

Where Goose finds customer words

  • your website's review pages, when Goose reads your site
  • your Instagram and TikTok posts, when Goose reads them
  • text you paste in

To add reviews yourself, open Brand and choose Add to brand, then Text. Give it a Title, paste the reviews under Text, and choose Learn from this text. You can also paste them into your AI app and ask Goose to add them. Each one comes in as a brand update in Needs you for your team to approve.

Mark them OK to quote

New customer words start as Not asked to quote yet. Goose keeps them out of ads until someone on your team marks them OK to quote.

Do this on the Brand Overview: pick the topic Customers, then choose OK to quote in ads under a quote. You can also choose Don't quote, or Take back the OK later.

Only mark a quote OK when you're allowed to use it in an ad. If you're not sure, ask the customer first.

What makes a good quote

Pick lines that:

  • are short, one or two sentences
  • say what changed for the customer, like "I finally sleep through the night"
  • name a real detail, like a smell, a fit or a number of days
  • sound like a person, not a brochure

Skip lines that only say "Great product!" They don't give a reason to buy.

Shared videos

Goose won't share a video that quotes a customer your team hasn't marked OK. See Videos.
