Connect your AI app
Add Goose to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another AI app.
Goose works inside the AI app you already use. You add Goose once, sign in to Goose in your browser, and pick your team. After that you just ask your AI app for ads.
The dashboard has the same steps, with the files and the address ready to copy. Open Settings, then Connections. The steps are under AI apps: pick Claude or ChatGPT, or open For coding apps: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or For Hermes Agent.
Claude, on the web or the desktop app
The Goose plugin, version 2.1.0, adds Goose and its 15 skills to Claude in one step. Each skill shows Claude how to do one kind of work with Goose: ad library, ask the team, brand files, brand setup, campaigns, competitor research, creative review, footage search, image ads, Meta ads, reference videos, resize and animate, social inspiration, video ads, and what to make.
On Settings, then Connections, pick Claude under AI apps and choose Download the Goose plugin.
In Claude, open Customize, then Plugins. Open Claude's plugins on the Connections page takes you there.
Choose Add, then Upload plugin, and pick the file you downloaded.
Open Goose in your plugins and go to its Connectors tab. Connect Goose, sign in, and pick your team.
To make videos in Claude's desktop app, also add Goose Video. Under Make videos on your computer, choose Download Goose Video, then open the file. See Videos and Goose Video.
ChatGPT
You add Goose to ChatGPT with its address.
Open ChatGPT's plugins page. Open ChatGPT's plugins on the Connections page takes you there.
Select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
Name it Goose, and paste this address. It's also under Goose's address on the Connections page.
https://gooseworks-mcp.shiv-861.workers.dev/mcpIf it asks how to sign in, pick OAuth. Then select I understand and want to continue and Create as a plugin.
Install it, sign in to Goose and pick your team. In a chat, type @ and pick Goose.
Claude Code, Codex and Cursor
One line from Goose sets up all three. On the Connections page, under For coding apps: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, copy the Line that sets up Goose. Paste it into the Terminal app on your computer and press Enter. This line needs Node.js 22.12 or newer.
This line only connects your coding apps to Goose. Making videos needs nothing installed first: see Set up your computer.
The command finds which of these apps you have and asks which ones to set up. It shows each change and asks before it makes it. It doesn't save any keys. Then each app asks you to sign in to Goose:
- Claude Code: open it, type /mcp, pick Goose and sign in. Then pick your team.
- Codex: open it and ask for Goose. If it asks you to sign in, follow its sign-in step.
- Cursor: open it, find Goose in its MCP settings, and select Connect to sign in.
Hermes
Open the Hermes settings file, ~/.hermes/config.yaml, and add the Goose lines from For Hermes Agent on the Connections page. If the file already has mcp_servers:, add only the goose: part under it.
In a Terminal window outside Hermes, run the sign-in line from For Hermes Agent:
hermes mcp login gooseYour browser opens. Sign in to Goose and pick your team.
Back in Hermes, type /reload-mcp, or start a new hermes chat. Then ask it to use Goose.
Other AI apps
Any AI app that can add a custom connector by its web address can use Goose. Add a connector with the address below, and sign in through your browser when the app asks.
https://gooseworks-mcp.shiv-861.workers.dev/mcpGoose signs in through your browser only.
Signing in and picking a team
When your AI app sends you to Goose to sign in, Goose asks you to let that app use Goose, and shows the team it will work in. Choose Change team to pick another team, Allow to go on, or Cancel to stop. If you aren't in a team yet, Goose asks you to make one first: type its name and choose Make team.
Once you allow it, your AI app can read your brand and make ads in that team, as you. Anything that costs credits still waits for your yes.
Cards and links
Claude and ChatGPT can show Goose's cards in the chat. A card shows the price and a button to say yes, and then follows the work while Goose makes it.
Apps that can't show cards give you a link instead. Open it to see the price and say yes in the dashboard. A yes typed in the chat can't spend credits.
See and remove connected apps
Connected apps, at the end of AI apps on Settings, then Connections, lists the AI apps you connected to this team, with the day you connected each one. Choose Disconnect to remove one. It loses access right away, and you can connect it again later.
When someone leaves a team, the AI apps they connected stop working in that team.
