Product photos
New photos of one of your products in a fresh scene, to use in ads and on your site.
Goose can make new photos of one of your products: in a new setting, with new light, and with or without a person. Each photo shows your real product, made from the photos in your brand brain.
Before you start
The product needs at least one photo in your brand brain. Add photos on the product's page under Brand, then Products. See Your brand brain.
Make photos
Ask your AI app, like "Make four lifestyle photos of our candle," or open Make in the dashboard:
- What: pick Product photo.
- Product: pick one product.
- Price: set up the photos and see the price.
On the Price step you choose, under The shot and Options:
- What kind of product is it? Clothing, Beauty, or Food, drink and home. Goose picks one from your product's type, so change it if it's wrong. Goose then sets the scene, light and angle to suit it, and shows them under How Goose shoots it.
- Who's in the photo? No one, Hands, Part of a person, or A whole person. Any person in the photo is made up by Goose, never a real person. For any choice but No one, you first agree that you have the rights you need and won't use the photos to copy a real person.
- How many photos: 1, 2, 4 or 8. Each photo shows the product in a different setting.
- Quality: better quality costs more credits.
- Anything Goose should know? A place, a mood, or what should be next to the product.
Then choose See the price, and say yes when you're happy with it.
Price
You pay per photo.
| Quality | Credits per photo |
|---|---|
| Draft | 30 |
| Good | 45 |
| Better | 60 |
| Best | 120 |
| Top | 180 |
The dashboard offers Good, Better and Best.
Goose checks every photo
Goose checks that each photo shows the right product, that no words were added or garbled, and that nothing looks warped or fake. If a photo fails, Goose tries once more. A photo that still fails is marked Didn't pass the check, and you don't pay for it.
A photo can only show the words printed on your real product. Goose fails a photo with any other words on it.
Find your photos
Open Library, then Product photos. Goose groups them by set, with the product's name and the day it made them. Open a photo to see its product, the scene you asked for, its quality, size and what it cost. Choose Download to save it.
If a photo didn't work, choose Try again for a new price, or Remove it.
Approve or archive
Choose Approve on the photos you like, and Archive on the ones you don't. To do many at once, pick up to 100 photos and choose Approve or Archive in the bar that shows.
Archived photos leave their set and wait under Archived. Choose Restore to put one back. Right after you archive, you can choose Undo for 10 seconds.
Approving a photo only marks it. It doesn't post it anywhere, or add it to your product's photos.
Use a photo
Open a photo and look under Use this photo:
- Edit this photo: change something in it.
- Make an ad from it: turn it into an image ad. This is priced like a change to an ad, 30 credits.
- Animate it: turn it into a 5-second moving ad, for 42 credits.
Each one copies a request for your AI app. Paste it there, and your AI app shows you the price before anything is made.
New photos don't go into your product's own photos by themselves. To use one as a product photo, download it and add it on the product's page.
