Team and settings

Invite people, pick who can do what, and manage brands, emails and connections.

Everyone on a team shares its brands, ads and credits. Open Settings at the bottom of the side menu to manage the team and your account. Its pages are Team, Plan & credits, Connections and Account. To find a setting, type it in Search… at the top.

Roles

Each person on a team is an Owner, an Admin or a Member.

A team always keeps at least one owner. Admins can make people members or admins. Nobody can change their own role.

Invite someone

On Settings, then Team, type their email at the top of Members, pick their role, then choose Send invite.

They get an email with a link that works for 48 hours. They sign in, then choose Join team, or Decline. Until they join, they show under Pending invites. There you can Copy link to send it yourself (it only works for the email you invited), or Withdraw the invite. A withdrawn invite shows Undo until it would have run out.

Each email has only one open invite at a time. If you invite someone who already has one, Goose says they're already invited and keeps that invite, with its role and end time. Choose Resend to email them the same invite again, or use Copy link to send it yourself. Resends count toward the invite limit below. Undo doesn't work on a withdrawn invite once a newer one is waiting for the same email.

A team can have up to 100 people. You can send up to 20 invites an hour, and so can the team as a whole.

Remove someone

Open the … menu next to their name and choose Remove from team, then Remove. They lose access to the team's brands, ads and credits right away. The AI apps they connected to it stop working too.

To leave a team yourself, ask an owner or admin to remove you.

More than one team

One person can be in more than one team. Switch teams in your account menu, the picture at the top right, under Teams, or choose New team there. Settings, then Account, also lists Your teams. Each team has its own brands, people and credits, and each new team starts with 1,000 free credits.

You can own up to 10 teams and be in up to 50.

More than one brand

A team can have more than one brand. Each brand has its own brand brain, products, ads, videos, campaigns, results and Meta connection. To add one, open the brand menu at the top and choose Add a brand. Then give its name and website, as you did for your first brand.

Connections

Settings, then Connections, has two parts:

  • AI apps: the steps to add Goose to your AI app, and the apps you connected. See Connect your AI app.
  • Meta: connect or manage the Meta ad accounts for the brand you're in. See Results and Meta.

Brand settings

Each brand's own settings are on its Brand page in the side menu, on the Overview tab:

  • Choose Edit name and website at the top to change its name and website.
  • Under Community gallery, owners and admins can turn on Show our ads in the community gallery. When it's on, anyone can see this brand's approved ads, with their headline and the brand's name, signed in or not. They never see costs, results or who made them. It's off to start. Open your gallery page shows what's there.
  • Owners and admins can delete the brand under Delete brand.

Your account

On Settings, then Account:

  • Profile: your name, your email, your photo (PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 5 MB), your LinkedIn and your time zone. Your team sees your name and photo. Your email is the one you sign in with, and it can't be changed here. Your AI app uses your time zone when it tells you times.
  • Emails: which emails you get from this team.
  • Your teams: every team you're in, with Open and New team.

Emails Goose sends

  • a sign-in link, when you sign in by email
  • an invite, when someone asks you to join a team
  • Ads ready, Videos made, Samples ready, Videos running out of time, A video needs a check and Launch time moved, to the person who said yes to them
  • Low on credits, Out of credits and Monthly limit reached, to the team's owners and admins

You can turn them off on Settings, then Account, under Emails, or with Stop getting these emails at the bottom of any of them, then Stop these emails. These settings are for each team you're in. Sign-in and invite emails can't be turned off.

Messages from Goose

Now and then, the dashboard shows you a short message from the Goose team, like news about a feature or a coupon code. Each message shows once. Choose Not now to close it.

If a message has a coupon code, owners and admins can choose Use this code, or use it later in Plan & credits. Members can ask an owner or admin to use it. Some messages also have a button that takes you to the page they're about.

Connected AI apps

Connected apps, on Settings, then Connections, under AI apps, lists the AI apps you connected to this team, with the day you connected each one. Choose Disconnect to remove one. It loses access right away, and you can connect it again later. See Connect your AI app.

Delete a brand

On the brand's Brand page, Overview tab, owners and admins can choose Delete brand. Type the brand's name to confirm, then choose Delete brand again. This removes the brand for everyone on the team, with its brand brain, products, ads, videos, files and Meta connection. Goose stops anything it's still making for it, and its share links stop working. This can't be undone.

Delete a team

On Settings, then Team, under General, an owner can choose Delete team. This removes it for everyone, with its brands, ads, files and connections, and ends its plan. Everyone loses access at once, and this can't be undone. Goose then clears out the team's brands and files in the background. See Privacy.
