Goose Growth

Static ads

Image ads for Meta, from one ad to a full set, made from your brand brain.

Goose makes image ads from your brand brain: your real products, your approved claims, your logo, colors and fonts. Each ad tests one idea, and Goose says why it picked the angle, the claim and the photo.

Ask in your AI app

Ask for what you want, like "Make three ads for our best seller" or "Make ads for our summer sale."

Your AI app then:

  1. asks which product, if your brand has more than one and you didn't say
  2. plans one idea per ad: who it's for, the angle, the hook, the format, the offer if there is one, and what the ad tests
  3. shows you the ideas and the price together

You can ask for a set look. Your AI app shows your team's templates, and you pick one.

When you don't say how many, Goose plans three ads. Each one tries a different buyer, angle or format, so you learn what works.

Start from the dashboard

You can also make image ads without your AI app. Open Make, then:

  1. What: pick Image ad.
  2. Product: pick one product, or choose Go on without a product for a brand ad.
  3. Layout: pick A layout, or keep Let Goose pick, which is picked to start. Or pick An ad to follow: one of your competitors' ads, an ad from Meta, or one Goose made.
  4. Price: pick How many ads (1, 2 or 4), the Sizes and the Quality. Add anything Goose should know, your own headline or main text, and the campaign the ads are for. Then choose See the price.

Each ad tests a different idea. Under What should each ad say?, let Goose pick the ideas, or set each ad's idea yourself: who it's for, what they already know, the angle, how it opens, what it looks like, the offer, the claims it may make and what it tests. Who it's for and what it tests are needed for each ad.

You can also start from your own words, a campaign idea or a recent request. See Getting started.

Goose makes each ad in every size you pick.

Quality and price

You pay per ad, per size. Better quality costs more credits.

QualityCredits per ad, per size
Draft30
Good45
Better60
Best120
Top180

For example, three ads in two sizes at Good quality is six images, so 270 credits.

The dashboard offers Good, Better and Best. Your AI app can offer all five.

Say yes

Nothing is made until you say yes to the price.

  • On a card in Claude or ChatGPT: the card lists the ideas, the price and your free credits. Choose Make it for the credits shown.
  • In the dashboard: the price page lists What Goose will make and the Price, with the total and when the price runs out. Choose Yes, spend the credits shown. If you came from Make, Change something takes you back. Otherwise, Not now leaves the price waiting in Needs you.

A price holds for 24 hours. Your yes covers exactly the work you saw. If you want a different idea, size, count or quality, ask for a new price.

While Goose makes them

The card, or the price page, follows the work as it happens, and the ads show there when they're ready. To stop, choose Stop on the card or Cancel in the dashboard. You pay only for ads that were already finished. The credits held for the rest come back.

Goose checks every ad

Before you see an image ad, Goose checks it against your brand brain. That includes ads in new sizes. Moving ads aren't checked, and their page says so.

Goose checks:

  • Claims: every claim is one you approved for this product.
  • Prices and numbers: they match your brand brain exactly.
  • Product photo, Logo and Brand colors: they're your own.
  • Words on the ad: they came out clean, with nothing garbled.
  • Warped or fake-looking parts: there are none.
  • What was asked for: nothing was left out.

When Goose finds a problem, it makes the picture again once. Each check then shows Looks right, Goose fixed it or Needs a look. An ad marked Check this has something Goose couldn't fix. Look at it before you use it.

An ad Goose couldn't make costs nothing, and its credits come back to you. An ad marked Check this was made, so it's still charged.

Find your ads

All your ads live in Library, under Ads. Filter by where they came from (All ads, Made by Goose or From Meta), by status, or by campaign. You can also search names, headlines and words, change the Order, switch between Grid and List, group ads By campaign, or show Archived ads. Ads you saved from a competitor are marked Saved from Ad Library.

Choose an ad to open it at the side. Use ← and → to move to the ad before or after it, Download to save it, or Open its page to see it full size. An open ad shows:

  • buttons to Share it with a link that works for 7, 30 or 90 days, or until you turn it off, Rename it, Mark and change it (mark the part to change and copy the change for your AI app), Archive it or Delete it
  • Approve this ad?
  • What next: Make more like this, Copy for your AI app to change it, and Keep as template
  • its Ad text: headline, main text, description, button, link and why Goose made it that way
  • its Details and Goose's check

Work on many ads at once

Tick the box on each ad you want, or press A to pick every ad shown. Shift-click picks a run of ads, and Esc clears what you picked. Then choose from the bar:

  • Approve or Reject, Tags, Move to a folder, Archive or Delete, for up to 100 ads
  • Download ZIP, for up to 500 ads
  • Remix, for up to 20 ads: Goose copies a request for your AI app to plan new ads from them, and it shows you the price first

Archived ads wait under Archived until you choose Bring back. Right after you archive, you can choose Undo for 10 seconds.

Goose won't delete an ad that came from Meta, went to Meta or is still being made. If you pick one, nothing is deleted.

Keep or drop

Under Approve this ad?, choose Approve or Reject. When you reject an ad, pick what was wrong, like "Wrong product" or "Words are weak", and choose Reject ad. Choose Undo within 10 seconds to take your choice back.

Approving an ad doesn't put it live anywhere. An approved ad shows Send to Meta, but sending to Meta is off for now. To run an ad, ask your AI app to pack it for Ads Manager. See Results and Meta.

Change an ad

Tell your AI app what to change in one go, like a new headline or a different photo. Or open the ad and choose Copy for your AI app under What next, or Mark and change to mark the part to change. A change costs 30 credits and you say yes to it first, like any other price.

Goose makes a new version and keeps the old one as it was. The new version keeps the same size and gets its own check. You can change ads Goose made in any of the four sizes above.

New sizes

Ask your AI app to put finished ads into other sizes, like "Make these ads in every Meta size." Each new size is a new ad, made at Good quality, and Goose checks it like any other ad. It costs 30 credits per new ad, and you can do up to 20 ads at a time. Goose skips any size an ad is already in.

For Meta feeds that's Square and Feed. For stories it's Story. For all of Meta it's all four sizes. You can only resize ads Goose made.

Moving ads

Ask your AI app to turn a finished ad into a 5-second moving ad. Say how it should move. It costs 42 credits. If the clip doesn't work, it costs nothing.

You can also start from a product photo: open it and choose Animate it. See Product photos.

Templates

A template is a layout you can reuse. To keep a finished ad's layout, open it and choose Keep as template. Give it a name and tags, and say whether only this brand or every brand in the team can use it. You'll find it under Yours on the Layout step when you make an image ad. The Competitors tab there has your competitors' ads, each with Use this layout.

You can also choose Add a layout on the Layout step, and add one from a picture you upload (PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 10 MB), a link, your own ads and posts, or your product photos. Then choose Add layout. In the … menu on your team's layouts you can Rename one, Change tags, let every brand use it or keep it to this brand, or Delete it. Deleted layouts wait under Deleted, with Restore.
